Birthday Plea

Hi All!

Today is my 25th birthday! It’s a strange feeling to be a quarter century old; and as I look back on my 25th year, I see a year packed with the most personal and spiritual growth, vocational discernment, and challenging life experiences.

My plea is this.

I have done a poor job of raising the funds necessary to support myself during this year, and I really appreciate DOOR/YAV for their continued support of me. The DOOR program here in Denver is an amazing program, not only affecting the lives of young adults through the Dwell and Discern programs, but youth and church groups through urban mission many weeks throughout the year. It has been a huge blessing in my life, and if you have any inkling at all to help support my mission and the work DOOR/YAV is doing, please give anything at all. It would be the best birthday gift you could give.

You can do that here by putting my name in the comment box: http://www.presbyterianmission.org/give/E052078/

Thank you so so much for your love and support, and I can’t tell you how much you mean to me!

-grace and peace

I want to say that it has been a pleasure seeing your spiritual growth throughout the last few years! You have a maturity about you that you did not have before and it looks good on you! I love your poems and writings and I think you are a wonderful man. I am sorry for my late birthday greetings, but better late than never!
